I have had the beginnings of this post living in my draft folder for like….an entire month now. I thought I would have it published before we went to the beach at the end of August…but nope. It just didn’t happen. So, some of these pictures are fairly dated now(in blogging years) but I still had to document them!
Basically this is all of the random what not’s that we have been up to since returning home to Joplin but excluding our trip to Destin(that will get it’s own entire post!)
The girls are both growing so, so much. Abigail is such a little lady and Mabel has blossomed into this running and babbling toddler. Like, last night, I had picked up some garbage and said, “hey Mabel, can you say trash?” and she just straight up said “trash!”. What?! Like, what?! Wasn’t she born yesterday? Nope. She talks back now. So there you have it.
Anyway, here are a bunch of pictures of my two favorite girls.
We have a small arcade inside our mall. It has this cute little bowling set up. Perfect for five year old’s 😉 Also, she picked out her entire outfit and requested her hair style(and the bows!)
We met up with some friends at George Washington Carver’s house for an outdoor walk and exploration. It was really fun! We’d never been before and really enjoyed it. We hope to get back there soon!
This girl needs her own PBK chair. Stat.
Mabel loves her personal space being invaded. #LittleSisterProbs
But really though. LOOK AT HER. I can’t. She’s my favorite second kid.
When it isn’t ten million degrees outside, we love going to our neighborhood park! It has swings, and slides, and tic tac toe, and a giant climbing thing, and this whirli-gig that both girls just LOVE.
What kid doesn’t love the tractors outside of Lowe’s? My girls are obsessed.
What kid doesn’t love the snapchat filters? My girls are obsessed.
We’ve been to Third Thursday twice! August and September have been fantastic. We have loaded up on coffee, treats, bounce houses, live music, and so many other fun things our Joplin Third Thursday has to offer!
Look at this big girl! I can’t even with her. Jim has been asking her when he does his Saturday morning coffee/donut run if she would like her own “coffee” and she emphatically says, “yes!”
She came running up to the house in this outfit of her own choosing and her little Starbucks in hand and I had a moment. You know? Way, way too grown.
So recently Mabel has finally become interested in watching a show or two with us and it is AWESOME. We all love snuggling up together and watching a Curious George or Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episode together. It’s kind of the best.
Just livin that Target life, you know?
The neighbors that we share a backyard with have three boys, a trampoline, and Amos the dog. She loves them all! It has been the coolest thing ever for her to just run out back and have friends there to play with.
She has these eagle ears that are always tuning in for the sound of the trampoline springs bouncing. The second she hears it(or children squealing) she is out the back door to go play!
The last few days have been filled with rain and more rain, so we’ve been cooped up a bit. Fortunately cute pictures like this make the stir crazy that comes with it almost make it worth it 😉
That’s probably enough pictures for now, eh? Until the next photo heavy post in a month or so 😉
