Thank you to Minted for sponsoring today’s blog post!
This time last year (the weekend after Thanksgiving!) we were moving OUT of our first home and moving into our new-to-us home. We have spent the last year taking baby steps to make our fixer upper of a house into a home.
One of the the areas that has seen the most changes and transformation is our entry way. With low ceilings, painted over wall paper, and lots of traffic this has been a really tricky space to get just right.
I loved how things were coming along, but I was in need of something to put above the wall space above the bench.
Enter Minted to save the day!
I wanted one large single piece of art to put on this wall. With multiple photos to the left and a gallery wall going up the stairs to the right, I felt that one big statement piece was what this space really needed.
I love having something on this wall finally and feel like it is just the perfect piece for our entry way.
One step at a time, one piece of art at a time, our house is becoming more and more our home.
Another area that has been completely revamped since moving in a year ago is Miss Abigail’s bedroom! (Check out her entire Ice Cream Bedroom reveal)
With lots of work and elbow grease, Miss Abigail’s room has become such a beautiful, light, and girly space that we LOVE spending time in! I sometimes joke that I want to trade bedrooms with her because I love her space so much 🙂
Abigail, you make the world more beautiful.
